History

R&D Manager Hans Martin successfully started the company Martionics AB (1989) that later became SenseAir AB (2000). In addition, two other companies have begun as development projects within SenseAir: Medair AB (now included in Nonin Medical Inc.) and JonDeTech AB. 

Hans Martin is a PhD as well as an Associate Professor in Molecular Physics at Stockholm University (1983), working with laser technology for gas sensing. Dr Martin is the author of 50 scientific articles besides 18 different main patents. His visionary optical designs have resulted in excellent sensor stability in combination with low production costs. 

Besides research and development, Hans Martin is a member of the Swedish Governmental Advisory Board of High Education and Research. He is also active in many scientific networks together with Swedish and International universities as well as Research institutes.
