Christer Engnér, CEO. Christer Engnér started at SenseAir in 2012. He has extensive experience in managing technology companies from the technical areas to the financial. He has held the position of CEO for Gäddede Elektronik, an Electronic Manufacturing Supplier in Sweden, as well as Genetech Systems Sweden, provider of backup power systems solutions. Prior to those roles, he had senior management roles in Solectron and Flextronics responsible for business development, industrialization and account management.
Linda Hammarström, CFO and VP SenseAir. Linda came to SenseAir in 2009 and brings extensive experience of accounting/controlling, project leadership, marketing, and management generally to the company. After completing her economics studies in 1996 Linda was employed by Stora Enso where she worked among other things as controller, project leader for a concern-wide productivity programme, implementation of SAP R3 and as head of marketing. After Stora Enso Linda worked for two years as Financial Controller at DHL Express. Linda has wide experience of working in larger companies in an international environment, and has for example spent four years of her career in the USA.
Hans Martin, CTO and head of R&D at SenseAir and founder of the company. As a research student in molecular spectroscopy at Stockholm University in the 1970s he was instrumental in building up the department of laser spectroscopy. In 1982 he received his doctorate and was appointed to an associate professorship at Stockholm University. He started the company Laser Spektrum AB in 1986, where he worked with diode laser systems and laser technology for gas measurement. In order to commercialise some ideas about how to make gas measurement by IR technology much more cost-efficient, Hans became in 1990 one of the two founders of the company which would become SenseAir AB. He is the author of over fifty scientific papers, published in international journals, and has a number of inventions to his name, eleven of which have been patented in different parts of the world. These patents are owned and maintained by SenseAir. The collaboration between MD Arvid Egeland and Head of R&D Hans Martin has proved be very successful and fruitful over the years. They have complemented each other in a unique way. Arvid's highly developed business sense and thorough technical competence, in combination with Hans' scientific creativity and industrial mindset has led to SenseAir developing into a world-leader – and pioneer –within its niche.
Robert Jansson, Vice President Operations. Robert has worked in leading positions both internationally and nationally in different technology companies. He acquired his international experience with Ericsson, working in both the USA and China. Later he spent some years with Flextronics where he among other things was Director of Logistics for Business Area Northern Europe. His most recent appointment was with Relacom AB, where he was Director of Operations for a national organization of service technicians.
Ian Thompson, Vice President Engineering. Over 25 years of global product development expertise. Batchelors and Masters degree in mechanical engineering from the UK. Expertise in the Automotive industry in developing high volume and also low volume niche products. Certified in Project management and has worked on successful product launches for the likes of Aston Martin, Lotus, Ford, CM, Chrysler, Renault, VW, Toyota, Honda and Hyundai. Has created and established R&D centers and engineering centers of excellence in his last two companies, ensuring full collaboration of engineering and production to produce cohesive teams for successful launches of new products.
Brian Scown, Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Brian has been involved in the HVAC and Building Controls industry for over 25 years. He has gained experience in all aspects of the industry from technical support to project engineering and management to solution sales and sales management. Brian has held previous senior positions as Engineering Manager and Sales Manager at TAC Pacific Australia, an international supplier and system integrator of building control systems.
Anna-Karin Eriksson, Head of Human Resources.
Ulf Sörell, Quality Manager. Ulf came to SenseAir in 2007. He has 20 years' experience of manufacturing companies, 10 of them as head of quality. At SenseAir AB Ulf has responsibility for the quality management system and works with overall quality control and improvement.
